Website Updates and Small Fixes

Website updates Bundaberg businesses can get done without the wait

Website updates Bundaberg owners can hand straight to me. New prices, a new service, fresh photos or a form that has stopped working. Send me what needs changing and I will get it done, usually within a few business days.

Keep Your Website Up to Date

An out of date site quietly costs you work

A customer finds your website, sees last year’s prices or a phone number that no longer works and moves on. It happens more than people realise. A website that is not kept current can make a good business look like it has closed down.

Every site I build lets you make simple edits yourself. But not everyone has the time or wants to learn. Some changes are trickier than swapping a line of text. That is where my website updates Bundaberg service comes in. You tell me what you need by email or over the phone and I handle it.

I work on sites I built and on WordPress sites built by other people. If your old web designer has disappeared and you cannot get changes made, I can usually help.

Common Website Updates

The jobs I do most often

Text and Prices

Updating service descriptions, prices, opening hours, team members and contact details across the site.

Photos and Galleries

Adding new job photos, replacing old images and resizing them so they load quickly on a phone.

New Pages

Adding a page for a new service or a new area you have started covering, set up properly for Google.

Forms That Stopped Working

Fixing contact forms that no longer send, emails landing in spam or spam flooding your inbox.

Layout Problems

Sorting out sections that look broken on mobile, overlapping text or buttons that do not go anywhere.

Seasonal Changes

Christmas closure notices, holiday trading hours and promotions for busy times like harvest season or school holidays.

How Updates Are Charged

Two simple ways to handle it

If you are on a WordPress maintenance plan, small content changes like updating text, swapping photos or changing a price are covered as part of looking after your site. Send them through whenever you need them.

If you are not on a plan or the job is bigger, such as a new page or a new section, I quote it per job. You get the price before I start, so there are no surprise bills.

For larger changes like restructuring your services or adding a shop, it may make more sense to look at a website redesign. I will always tell you if a fix is going to cost more than it is worth.

How to Request a Change

Quick and easy from your end

1

Send the Details

Email me what needs changing with the page address and any new text or photos. A phone call works too.

2

Get a Price if Needed

If the change is covered by your plan I just do it. If not, I reply with a quote for you to approve.

3

I Make the Change

The update is made carefully and checked on desktop and mobile before I let you know it is done.

4

You Check It

Have a look on your phone. If anything is not quite right, tell me and I adjust it.

Learn to Do It Yourself

If you would rather make your own edits

Some people like being able to change things on the spot. Elementor makes that easy once you know where to click. I can run a short screen share session showing you how to update text, swap photos and add a new job to your gallery on your own site.

It is a good option for businesses that post new work often, like builders and landscapers. It also suits those who change specials regularly, like cafes and restaurants. You still have me as a backup for anything trickier.

Website Update Questions

Who can make website updates for a Bundaberg business?

Website Design Bundaberg makes website updates for Bundaberg businesses, with Nick doing the changes himself. He updates sites he built and WordPress sites built by other people, including those whose original developer has disappeared. Send the page and what needs changing by email or phone and he takes it from there.

Most website updates for Bundaberg businesses are done within a few business days of the request. Urgent problems like a broken contact form or a wrong phone number get looked at as soon as possible. Every change is checked on desktop and mobile before I let you know it is done.

Small website updates like new text, prices or photos are covered on Website Design Bundaberg maintenance plans. Bigger jobs like a new page or section are quoted per job so you know the cost first. See the maintenance plans for what each level includes.

A website someone else built can usually be updated by Website Design Bundaberg if it runs on WordPress. You just need to provide an admin login or hosting access. For other platforms like Wix or Squarespace, I will tell you what is possible before any work starts.

Getting back into a Bundaberg website after losing the login is usually possible with a little detective work. If you have access to the hosting account or the email address used to set up the site, I can reset your access. If not, I help you prove ownership of the domain first.

Small website changes in Bundaberg are quoted per job by Website Design Bundaberg rather than charged by the hour. You get a price before work starts, with no minimum spend. If you are on a maintenance plan, small content changes are already covered as part of looking after your site.
